The gods in ancient Greece were very popular and powerful. The main three were Zues god of the universe, thunder and lightning, Poisdon god of the sea and Hades god of the underworld. There were many other gods such as Athena god of wisdom, Apolo god of the sun and many more. Before the human race began the Gods fought the Titans. Giants who were,like the gods imortal. The gods won and siezed control over evrything.The gos then made there home on mount Olympus. The gods names can be found anywhere, such as the city Athens, named after Athena. All in all the gods were considered the most powerful beings in greek mythology. |
